Daniel E. Krampitz, M.D. Neurologist
Daniel Krampitz, M. D., was born and raised in Chicago, and received his undergraduate and master's degrees from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana. He attended medical school at the University of Illinois in Chicago and completed his internship at Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, Illinois. Dr. Krampitz completed his Neurology residency at the University of California- Irvine. He did his fellowship work in epilepsy at the University of Texas/Southwestern (UTSW) and his fellowship in neuromuscular diseases at UTSW and the Veterans Hospital/Dallas. He is board certified in Neurology and Neurophysiology.
Dr. Krampitz joined Neurology Consultants of Dallas, P. A., in September of 2000. He has a special interest in epilepsy and neuromuscular diseases including ALS, myopathies, and peripheral neuropathy.
Dr. Krampitz and his wife, Marlyn, have two children. Dr. Krampitz' hobbies and interests include travel, scuba diving, and reading—he especially enjoys reading travel essays, horror, science fiction, and humor books.
